We have a couple of exciting updates to share with you. We are happy to introduce investigation reports that allow you to export your work from Merlon. We’ve also updated Merlon’s homescreen. Read on to find out how you can benefit from these changes:
Export your investigations with reports
As an adverse media investigation platform Merlon provides its users with investigation reports for both persons and entities. This report contains all adverse media results and serves as evidence of due diligence and a source for SAR filings, when necessary.
Investigation reports can be downloaded from Merlon as a PDF file and can be saved to the user’s CRM software or to a document repository.
Report’s first page offers a structured overview of the investigation, including the subject’s details, investigation parameters as well as aggregated data across all returned Findings. The first page gives anyone the ability to look at the report and briefly identify who created the report, who is the investigated subject and what is the outcome of such investigation.
Findings are sorted by relevance with the most risky Findings on the top of the report and dismissed Findings in the end. In addition to that, an audit trail provides a transparent overview of analyst’s actions for each Finding to satisfy the proper record keeping requirements.
All your investigations in one place
We’ve completely revamped Merlon’s homescreen. The Active tab shows all your new investigations as well as the ones you are currently working on in one place. Once an investigation is closed it goes into the Closed tab.
You can easily find older investigations using filters. Select subject type (person or entity) or date created to narrow down your search.
A faster and smarter way to create new investigations
Creating new investigations in Merlon has never been easier. Just click the New Investigation button and a fast overlay window appears.
We’ve also created Hints to help you input the right information in the right place. This can be very useful, especially with more complex names.
We hope that you will enjoy these improvements and if you haven’t done so already, sign up for a free trial or contact us via email: email@example.com.
